I retouched and recolored this image to fulfill the photographer's vision of a dramatic, sports portrait.
The subject requested a "glamour retouch" and changing her sweater to black.
I made the image “spooky” by adjusting color balance, darkening, and adding creepy shadows. Products were kept light so they popped off the page.
I brightened the image overall and removed dirt from paper. The inner tube was extended to full length of outer netting.
I removed some milkshake bubbles, swapped out the whipped cream, and changed the shake placement to give the burger the prominent position. I rebuilt the melted cheese to look more appealing. I also adjusted overall exposure, contrast and vibrancy.
I composited in an alternate pose of the boy's arm. The hammock was re-colored to purple. The bag was removed, and grass was extended to full width of the image.
I was provided fabric swatches and tasked with mapping the fabric patterns onto the pillows.
I recolored the painted sections of the pegboard and cabinet. The elf figure and red tree were replaced with a storage bin containing a red blanket.
I removed her under-chin fullness, slimmed down her arm, whitened her teeth and reduced under-eye wrinkles and darkness. I also replaced the background.
I replaced the dead-looking yard and bushes with lush green grass.
I inserted photos into frames while maintaining the shadows.
The dress was smoothed out and unsightly wrinkles removed.
The model was removed from the background and was color-corrected to reach a natural skin tone.
Transparency was maintained in the dress layers, as seen in the screenshot of model's image in direct mail piece.

I removed the bar stools from the image, then added the bookshelf, picture frames, and light. The rug was also straightened out.
I removed the yellow grease and distracting background element from the image. I also adjusted the overall brightness and vibrancy.
I masked out the hat, chair and plants to recolor just the brick wall.
I composited the boy from the first image and the girl from the second image to achieve the final image result. The background papers were also extended.
I smoothed out the woman’s waist and removed some wrinkles from her pants. I reduced the appearance of the man’s wrinkles and whitened his teeth. I also reduced shine on both of the models' skin and added stars with shadows to the background.
This image was created by compositing multiple shots together to show three bales at once. I then brightened, cropped, and straightened the image overall. Finally I darkened the background to bring attention to the product and enable text to be placed over dark areas for an ad.
I inserted provided art and mats into the frames and re-colored the wall.
I reduced glare and reflections from the wine glasses and removed water spots from the pitcher. I then brightened the painted zodiac signs.
